After some hectic and wonderful time being a PRactitioner, now I'm finally, FINALLY a software engineer. Today is my first day at this new job at Bristlecone and the day began with a lot of hectic activity as any usual Monday but just that today is a Wednesday.
After returning from my 1 week long vacation after quitting my previous job, slept peacefully last night and woke up late today morning. Realised on waking up that I had to photocopy a whole load of credentials to be submitted as part of the joining formalities. As expected, reached office early despite the huge traffic jam at KR puram and was made to wait till the HR arrived.
Then began the marathon form filling - PF, agreement, contracts, blah...blah...blah... and am still not done. Met with the people who interviewed me and took a small look around the office. Had my ID done, had the complementary lunch (not bad but could be better, by the way).
Met my batch mates with whom I'm going to be trained and I must say, we male members of the species are clearly outnumbered 2 to 4. Had a small chat and must confess that I got involved to a certain extent in their gossips.
Now waiting for my first training session...
So far, so good. Will keep you updated, oh my loyal reader.
